Returns and Refunds

  • We hope you will be delighted with your product when it arrives. We are a small company, and all of our furniture is handmade to order. We are therefore unable to offer refunds for furniture once it has been ordered and production has begun. 

  • Smaller items can be refunded within a 14-day period, if you change your mind. The buyer is responsible for covering the cost of return postage. Please contact us to start a refund.

  • In the unlikely case that an item you receive is damaged or faulty, or the wrong item is delivered, we will repair or replace the item.

Delivery

  • Once your furniture is ready for dispatch, you will be contacted to arrange a delivery time slot. We may pass on their contact details to the courier so they can contact you directly. 

  • The courier may not be completely flexible on delivery dates. 

  • If you prefer to collect your furniture from our workshop in Walthamstow, this can be arranged. 

  • While we offer free delivery to most parts of the UK, a surcharge may be charged for deliveries to Scotland, Northern Ireland, outside of the UK, or hard-to-access areas. Please contact us before you place your order if you think this might apply. 

  • We hire professional couriers to deliver our products safely. If items arrive damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos of the damage and we will repair or replace the item.

  • Our couriers will carry the item inside, however, they are only expected to do this if there is clear access to the property. If they cannot access the property without risk of causing damage to the item or the property, they will return the item to us unless the buyer requests for the item to be left outside. If the item is returned to us, the buyer will be responsible for the return delivery costs. To avoid this happening, please measure doorways and passageways etc. prior to ordering to ensure the item/s will fit through. Please also ensure there is nothing on the floor that might be a trip hazard or anything else that could obstruct access.

  • If the buyer is not at the property at the agreed time, the buyer will be responsible for any costs of storing their items and redelivery. If agreed by the courier and buyer, the courier may wait for the buyer to arrive. In this case, the buyer will be charged £20 per 30 minutes wait time. 

  • We will make our best efforts to ensure your furniture is delivered on time, but please note that all delivery time slots and dates are estimates and can be subject to change. 

Products

  • As our furniture is handmade to order, products will vary slightly from the photographs listed, given the natural variations of the wood we use. This might include naturally occurring irregularities in the wood such as knots, cracks, shakes and colour variation. 

  • Refunds will not be given for small imperfections due to cutting and machining processes in the workshop, including:

    • small breakout marks which occur as a result of the planer cutting against the grain

    • small chips as a result of cutting (bandsaw and table saw) across the grain

  • We do not guarantee that products listed are exact to the millimetre. Please allow +/- 5% on all dimensions. If you require your piece to be an exact measurement, please let us know before you place your order.

  • All products require occasional maintenance, for example re-oiling wooden surfaces. Please see our care guide for advice.
